About project

Aligning Culture and Compensation

Background

Open Eyes is a global nonprofit organization that exists to accelerate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the unreached and under-served. They do this by equipping local leaders and churches with transportation and resources needed to bring about holistic and eternal transformation of lives and communities.

Challenge

As the organization grows and matures, they want to foster a culture that values and prioritizes professional integrity, collaborative growth, stewardship, and service. They had an outdated compensation structure that needed an overhaul to 1) reflect their culture, 2) be practical and competitive for employees, and 3) be compliant with applicable federal and state labor laws.

Solution

In partnership with People Matter Most, Open Eyes embarked on a collaborative journey to develop a comprehensive total rewards structure with a clear compensation philosophy.
